On Tuesday the 2nd of December 2014, the next meeting of the Association of Poole Watch Groups will take place at the Community Room, Bournemouth and Poole College, North Road Poole 7.pm to 8.30.pm.
The Agenda and Minutes of the 2nd of September Meeting will be circulated a week prior to the meeting.
Within the area of Hamworthy Anti-social Behaviour is an ongoing problem. If you feel that ASB is affecting you PERSONALY or its affecting the local ENVIRONMENT or other people in the community dont just put up with it, pick up the phone and report it to Dorset police on 101 because working together can help put a stop to this problem.
Between the times of 1500hrs on the 19th October 2014 and the 25th October 2014 at 1400hrs a theft of a pedal cycle occured in the secure underground carpark of Puffin House Stone Close area of Hamworthy Poole. It is unknown how the offender(s) gained entry to the underground carpark as no signs of forced entry was found on any entrances. The bike was a black Specialized cycle with a black rear mud guard.
Please secure all bicycles with a good lock, get a security stamp put on your bike and note down you bikes serial number. If you saw anything suspicious or have any information please call Dorset Police on 101 or Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111 quoting crime number 044961.
October 28th 2014 This message relates to recent scams
Dorset Police would like to bring to your attention an on going scam where people are posing as police officers or other positions of trust in an attempt to gain bank details over the phone. Money is then being withdrawn. Under no circumstances give your banking details to anyone over the phone, even police officers.

October 27th 2014 This is a theft from Motor Vehicle Message.
Between the times of 2200 on Sunday 26th October 2014 and 0600 on Monday 27th October 2014, a theft from a stationary and unattended motor vehicle occurred in the Broomhill Way area of Hamworthy Poole. The offender(s) entered the vehicle by forcing the window down and stealing a wallet and all its contents.
Please do not leave valuables or any other items in your vehicle, and set the alarm if fitted, and make sure the vehicle is secure. If you saw anything suspicious or have any information please call Dorset Police on 101 or Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111 quoting crime number 044716.

October 24th 2014. This is a driver refresher course message.
On the 10th of December 2014, a drivers refresher course will take place at Upton House Upton Country Park Upton Poole. The course will commence at 2 pm, and will cost 5 pounds. We are also offering a limited number of free 90 minute practical driving sessions for those who attend the theory session. The course applies to drivers 70 or over.

Hamworthy SNT officers will be holding a drop in surgery at The Co Op, BLANDFORD Rd between 1000-1100hrs on Saturday 25th October 2014 for a one on one discussion. If you have any concerns or issues you wish to discuss confidentially with officers, please pop along.
October 21st 2014. This is a general vehicle crime message.
In the last week there has been an increase in vehicle breakins in the Hamworthy area of Poole. Various items have been stolen such as handbags, and stereo speakers.
Please make sure you do not leave valuables in your vehicle, and your vehicle is alarmed if fitted, and the vehicle is secure.
